what is life like being a mother and an entrepreneur?

If you had asked me that question six years ago, my answer would have probable been DIFFICULT AND UNBEARABLE! I mean what did i know? I was just a woman who got married at a pretty early age, became a mother and boom, started a journey to finding the perfect career path and trust me, the journey was not as easy as i thought it would be. Everyone says a career woman is a woman with visions and dreams to become something more but i believe that it takes more than visions and dreams and more of persistence, courage, determination and of course, the realization that you are a woman, an entity that can do anything she puts her mind to to earn the title.

I am Lilian Fortune, and I’m a lot of things as far as entrepreneurship is concerned. While some may call people like me business women, I like to go by the term; serial entrepreneur. Specifically, I am a Property developer and Investor, I am also someone who believes in the importance and promising benefits of effective healthcare and so, have gone ahead to promote quality healthcare in every way that I can so much so that I own my own health care organization. Even with all my numerous achievements, I still have a a hunger to see how far I can go by involving myself in various opportunities that would enable me to create multiple streams of income while taking care of my family ‘without breaking a sweat’. While I am all that I am, I am first a wife, and a mother to five adorable Kids and being a mother to my babies, while achieving my dreams and handling my business side by side, is my topmost priority.

I’ve been through all the stages you’ve been through, and I know how it feels like to be the centre and backbone of your world. The feeling can be overwhelming and scary, but with the right guidance, you can still be a great mum, an amazing wife and still get your coins. You CAN make your own home, and your own money on your own without having to give up any of your dreams to make that happen. In this space, you will be privy to the multiple facets of my busy lifestyle. Hand in hand, we can do this together and be a motivation for millions of women out there.
